The authorites announced this evening that the number of confirmed swine flu cases now stands at 77. The latest two cases were confirmed positive last night and are from Mata.

No cases that were tested this morning were found to be positive. A further person has recovered from the flu virus, which leave 58 still requiring treatment.

Only vulnerable people are now being tested as the country has now moved from the containment to mitigation phase.

The Health Department advised that all diagnosed cases are responding to treatment and doing well.

Anyone who is currently feeling any of the symptoms is urged not to go to hospital emergency departments or clinics, instead they should stay at home and contact a doctor, or contact the swine flu helpline on 21324086.
