Tisbit – which returns to Gozo later this month, is a platform for young Gozitan percussionists to portray their talent and collaborate with other young artists.

The mastermind behind this unique showcase is Michael Camilleri, who is also the principal timpani of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and drummer in The Travellers.

On the night, percussionists from The Clef House will be collaborating with the Big Band Brothers Juniors and two guest singers – Megan May Caruana and Hannah Theuma.

The music repertoire for this open-air concert will include drum excerpts together with big band pieces.

Tisbet is on Wednesday, the 24th of August, at the Cathedral Square in the Citadel, Victoria, starting at 8pm.

Free entrance with seats on a first come, first served basis.
