Levant Gozo Music Fest next weekend at the Heliport

The Levant Gozo Music Fest is to be staged between the 9th and 10th of September at the Xewkija Heliport.
Details were given by Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri, who said that it is Gozo’s first music festival that is spread over two days.
“The Levant Gozo Music Fest is part of a programme of organised events to ensure that the island continues to be attractive for leisure tourism, offering high quality activities which will encourage not only Gozitans to attend, but also Maltese and tourists to visit,” the Minister said.
Charles Borg, one of the organisers from the Central Committee of Xewkija, said that the Levant Music Fest will close the summer music season in Gozo through a music show with several renowned artists both local and international.
The festival will reach its climax with Grammy Award winner Imanbek, the 20-year-old musician from Kazakhstan who is a huge success in the music world. Also taking part are Tribali, The Travellers, Mae, Rubberband and Junior B.
Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by encouraging all those who love music to attend this festival which is open to all free of charge. Levant Music Fest is sponsored by the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.
