A man who was hit by a motorbike last week in Victoria has died from his injuries, Police said today.

The 62-year old man from Fontana was seriously injured last Monday evening after being hit by a motorbike in Republic Street, Victoria.

He had been given assistance at the scene by a medical team before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital.

The motorcyclist, a 38-year old man from Qala, was not injured in the accident.
