A spectacular 90-minute concert, held on Tuesday, Leone Goes Pop & Movies, featuring the Leone Band of Victoria, proved to be another resounding success.

This 2nd edition of the concert was performed at At Il-Menqa, Marsalforn, in front of a large and appreciative audience, including, amongst others, the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono.

The concert followed the great success of the first edition held in May, which was performed in Independence Square, Victoria. Once again the presenter for Leone Goes Pop & Movies was Jean Claude Micallef.

The concert included a variety of music from the movies, featuring scores by Henry Mancini, along with well known blockbuster movie soundtracks and that all-time classic, Charlie Chaplin movie themes, which were also composed by the same great artist. The singers performing at the concert were Mario Caruana and Pamela Bezzina.
