A 62-year old motorcyclist from Victoria, Gozo, was seriously injured following a traffic accident in Triq Pompej, Victoria, on Sunday.
Police said that the accident happened at around 11.15am, when the man lost control of his motorbike.
He was given assistance at the scene by a medical team before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital.
Police investigations are still ongoing.

Probably caught out by the wrongly sized ‘sleeping policeman’ that is so badly designed that even normal cars can catch the underside of their body on it. So bad that even the insufficient markings on it are rubbed off immediately by vehicles touching down.
It would appear that this morning, the authorities who put it there are now digging it up!
