A 77-year old British man from Xaghra died on Friday afternoon after an “object” fell on his head while he was carrying out work on the roof of his residence.
Police said that the incident happened at around 5pm on a residential roof in Triq Ta’ Gorf in Xaghra, Gozo.
The man was taken to the Gozo General hospital for treatment, but sadly was pronounced dead in the following hours.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
