A senior Chinese delegation led by the Vice Minister of the international department of China were welcomed in a courtesy meeting with Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri.

During the meeting Minister Camilleri said that several themes were discussed that affect both countries, including the strong bilateral relationship between us, the opportunity to strengthen tourism to our island, cultural collaborations as well as the challenges and opportunities related to carbon zero goals and alternative energy.

“We must continue to sustain the strong relationship with the second largest economy in the world that we inherited from our forefathers,” the Minister said.
