The Public Health Response Team official open source database have today updated the number of Covid-19 cases for the last week.

Between the 20th and 26th of February, 139 new cases have been recorded. There were no new deaths. The total number from the start of the pandemic is 827.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo now stands at 229. This brings the number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start to 117,477.

There were 2,215 tests taken over the same period resulting in a positivity rate of 6.28%.

The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
