In relation to final deeds of sale on residential property in February, the Gozo and Comino District registered 132, this was down 62 on January, when the figure stood at 194, it was also down on February last year by 58, when the number was 190.

The data released today by the National Statistics Office show that in the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, there were 77 final deeds of sale, down by 33 on January, when there were 110 and down by 28 on February last year when there were 105.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija there were 55, this was down by 29 on January when there were 84 and down by 30 on February 2022 when there were 85.

The NSO noted that the second lowest figures nationally of promise of sale agreements were noted in the Gozo and Comino District, with 121 agreements, down from 139 on the same month last year.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, the promise of sale agreements totalled 59 in February, up 5 from January when it was 54, and down 1 from February last year when it was 60.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, the figure was 62, up 7 from January when it was 55, but down 17 on February last year when it was 79.
