25 benches are to be installed on the Belvedere of the streets John Gaspard Le Merchant and Cardinal Alessandro Franchi, in Fontana.
The Fontana Local Council explained that these new benches are made of recycled plastic that guarantees high quality, an attractive visual appearance, and more resistance to the natural elements. “Above all, these benches are also sustainable and environmentally friendly.”
The Council said that these benches will replace the existing ones which were installed in February 2002 on the occasion of the inauguration of the project of infrastructure and regeneration of the same roads.
The Fontana Local Council has signed a contract with the Green Skips company for the purchase and installation of the 25 benches.
This project will be funded entirely by the Council’s funds, and amounts to approximately €14,000, it said.
