Zebbug Local Council is commemorating ‘Jum iz-Zebbug’ with a number of events organised in the village.
On Saturday evening during a ceremony, the Gieh iz-Zebbug 2023 was awarded to Mrs. Colombia Cefai, an ex-councillor of Zebbug.
The evening, which was attended by Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, included commemorative speeches and a concert with the Santa Marija Band, together with the Regina Angelorum Choir and I-Kor San. Maria
The completed project for the Santa Marija Band Band Club Hall was also inaugurated, which was funded through a scheme issued by the Ministry for Gozo so that this hall can also be used for variety of activities
