The completed embellishment project for Gnien il-Professur Guzè Aquilina, in Munxar, has been inaugurated.
The project for the playing field was funded by the Local Government Division at a cost of €42,000. The scheme involved was towards the improvement in conditions of local playing fields.
Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri said that the Government’s goal is to “continue to create more public spaces and places where families can spend time at rest.”
He added that “this is why we support projects like this because they are part of our goal to improve various areas in different localities so that residents have places of recreation in their own neighbourhood.”
The inauguration was carried out Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Alison Zerefa Civelli and Munxar Mayor Damien Spiteri.
