Five young players for the Oratory Youths FC nursery have been selected to attend a training camp with the Italian team Torino FC.
The youngsters left on Sunday morning accompanied by Coach Raymond Attard – who was invited to be part of the coaching staff by the Torino Academy for the 5-day training camp in Turin.
The Oratory Youths FC said that these talented children were handpicked by Italian coaches during the training camps held as part of the successful collaboration between Oratory Youths FC and Torino FC, which has been going strong for the past two years.
The club added that “thanks to this wonderful partnership, our nursery players have been given the incredible opportunity to take part in high-level training camps and, as these children are about to experience, train in top-notch facilities.”
The club concluded by saying that “these opportunities are the stuff of dreams for our youngsters, and we are delighted that Oratory Youths FC is able to make these dreams come true for them and wish them every success.”
The Ministry for Gozo, through the Directorate for Tourism and the brand visitgozo.com will be assisting these youngsters for their trip.
