The Sempre Vivo concert – second edition, will once again be staged in aid of Puttinu Cares in the setting of Xaghra Square.

€36,190.90 was raised at last year year’s concert held in memory of a young person who died of cancer and with the aim of raising money for Puttinu to continue helping those who may need the services they provide.

Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri announced that the concert, organised by Il-Karus l-Ahmar, will be held on Friday, the 11th of August in Xaghra Square, starting at 9pm and encouraged everyone to attend.

This year’s concert will be a memorable one where different genres of music will be played including rock, pop, Gregorian and even music of praise to God.

There will also be a live orchestra and band accompanied by several established and new singers. For this year there will also be a children’s choir for the first time.

The organisers encouraged everyone to attend in order to continue helping Puttinu Cares. Jessica Rae Bonello on behalf of Il-Karus l-Ahmar” said that “the activity is free of charge but all the donations given will go to Puttinu.

“Everyone who attends this concert will be contributing and above all giving their support and hope to all those who are going through a difficult time due to health problems,” she said.
