Gozo astronomy event showcases wonders of the night sky

Over 60 enthusiastic participants enjoyed an evening at the Gozo Regional Astronomy Park in Gharb, which was inaugurated in June.
The Astronomy Park said that the astronomy event was a “resounding success which captivated both enthusiasts and curious individuals alike.”
The event showcased the wonders of the night sky and provided a unique opportunity for participants to explore the fascinating realm of astronomy.
Those attending were treated to a mesmerising experience, discovering the beauty and mysteries of the universe through a variety of engaging activities and presentations.
They were able to learn about latest discoveries, breakthroughs, and ongoing research projects in the field of astronomy.
The event commenced with an informative session delivered by Mr Klaus Conrad who shared captivating insights into the celestial world and its wonders.
One of the highlights of the event was the stargazing session, where attendees had the opportunity to observe celestial objects using state-of-the-art telescopes provided by the Astronomy Park.
The clear night sky provided an ideal backdrop for participants to witness the splendour of distant galaxies, nebulae, and planets.
The Regional Astronomy Park expressed its sincere thanks to all the participants for their “overwhelming enthusiasm and support.”
