Air Malta have said that on Saturday evening, shortly after departure, the KM483 flight from Geneva to Malta had to return twice to Geneva “due to technical issues.”
The airline said that the “safety of passengers and crew is the top priority, and the issue was swiftly identified, and the aircraft landed safely in Geneva.”
The engineering team is working to resolve the issues, and customers were provided overnight hotel accommodation, Air Malta said.
Air Malta apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked passengers for their “patience and understanding.”
