An impactful Anti-Racism = Patriotism event was recently organised by the Human Rights Directorate, in collaboration with the Gozo Regional Council, at the Gharb Local Council Hall.

There was a panel conversation, featuring diverse voices, which delved into Maltese patriotism, celebrating both history, as well as today’s intercultural values.

The open discussion emphasised the importance of equality and diversity for economic success.

This event falls under Malta’s anti-racism strategy for 2021-2023, where the Human Rights Directorate aims to hold a series of grassroots-level discussions.

The organisers expressed their thanks to all who “joined in standing against racism and promoting unity.”
