New Year’s Eve will be the last chance to make a blood donation in Gozo for 2023, so please give the gift of life to someone this year by making a much needed blood donation

The National Blood Transfusion Service said that each blood donation can help save three lives.

The Service continues to encourage Gozitans to please keep attending donation sessions to help the patients in need get the necessary blood in a timely manner.

The next session in Gozo will be, Sunday, the 31st of December from 8am until 1pm, at the Xewkija Clinic.

“Your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated as always,” the Service said.

The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service

• Bring your Maltese ID Card, driving licence or passport.

• Drink some water before your donation .

• Wear loose fitting clothes/sleeves.

• The face mask is still mandatory.
