Bookings for travel in the summer with KM Malta Airlines have already surpassed 250,000 seats sold, the airline said.

Bookings first opened on the 4th of December 2023 and the 250,000 bookings represent 18% of the airline’s Summer 2024 seat capacity already sold, it said.

The airline reported it is experiencing a “very strong demand for both its value business class fares and for the very flexible economy fares. Bookings from European Tour Operators and Group Sales have also been especially strong demonstrating the demand for inbound travel to Malta.”

An airline spokesperson stated that ticket purchases to date have exceeded the airline’s expectations and demonstrates the attractiveness of its new route strategy and the effectiveness of its new fare structures.

The airline said it expects global travel to continue to show resilience during 2024 and travel to remain a priority for consumers especially for leisure travel.

The KM Malta Airlines Summer 2024 schedule will operate from the 31st of March, through until the 26th of October, with the airline serving 17 airports across 15 key European cities, namely, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Dusseldorf, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Zurich.
