A book launch at Il-Hagar Museum, Gozo, later this month, will feature – Tigi Ghawdex? – a set of two volumes published by Delicon.
They consist of 130 chosen articles or essays originally written years ago by Gozitan poet Gorg Pisani (1909 – 1999) for his popular Radju Malta programme about Gozo.
The Museum said that they offer very interesting information about old-time Gozo: traditions, personalities and locations.
The occasion, which will be delivered in Maltese, will offer readings and even some original recordings, as well as a contribution from the author’s son, Notary Dr Paul George Pisani.
The book launch is on Saturday, the 10th of February, starting at 11am. Seat reservations are recommended to events@heartofgozo.org.mt
The museum is located in St George’s Square and open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm, with no entrance fee.
This can also be an opportunity to visit the current temporary Unknown Prescription collective Exhibition, as well as a philatelic First Flight covers showcase.
