A+ and O+ blood needed urgently, donate in Gozo on Sunday

<p> Currently there is an urgent call out for donations of A Positive and O Positive blood groups. </p> <p> There is the chance to donate blood in Gozo on Sunday morning, other groups are also needed. </p> <p> Each blood donation made can help save three lives. The National Blood Transfusion Service said less than 5% of the eligible population actually takes the time to donate blood - Just 3 out of 100 people. "In which percentage do you fall?" </p> <p> Did you know that every 5 minutes someone in hospital needs blood: Children undergoing cancer treatments; Patients having surgery; Mothers facing childbirth complications; People with blood disorders, like Thalassaemia; Individuals with traumatic injuries. </p> <p> The NBTS stressed that the list could go on...
