The 25th edition of the Bir Miftuh International Music Festival has been launched by Din L-Art Helwa, once again bringing together a stunning line-up of performers for lovers of classical music.

The concerts are held at the charming medieval church of Santa Marija ta’ Bir Miftuh, located outside the Malta International Airport near the roundabout to Gudja.

This year’s concerts will be as follows:

May 10th at 7.30pm: Manon Galy – Violin, Anissa Baniahmad – Flute, Anne Marie Camilleri Podesta’ – Harp, Gillian Zammit – Soprano.

May 18th at 7.30pm: Rachel Gauci – Piano, Clare Ghigo – Mezzo Soprano.

June 8th at 8pm: Ester Garcia Salas – Viola, Inmaculada Muñoz Salgüero – Violin , Agnieszka Kuzma – Violín, Frank Camilleri – Violoncello.

DLH said that the concerts have been “generously sponsored” by the Embassy of France, the Alliance Française de Malte-Méditerranée, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the German-Maltese Circle, the Goethe Institute and the Embassy of Spain. “Special thanks also go to Nectar and Marsovin.”

Tickets for each concert are against a donation of €25 per person and include refreshments after the performance in the church grounds. Block bookings are also available against a donation of €65 for all three concerts and €40 for two concerts.
