Where I Stand – Youth voices from the Region, is the title of an informative session held recently for Gozitan youth, at the Queen Mary University of London Gozo Campus, Victoria.
The aim of this session in the lead-up to the European Elections, was to create a space for dialogue where youth could put forward their proposals on issues which affect them.
Two brainstorming sessions were held, where youth discussed two important themes – housing and employment, which eventually generated various impactful recommendations.
These recommendations were formulated into a paper which will be presented to candidates for the European Parliamentary elections.
The event was organised by Europe Direct Gozo in collaboration with the Gozo Region, Agenzija Zghazagh, and the European Parliament Liaison Office.
The paper can be read in full by clicking here.
