A 48-year old man has been seriously injured after falling a height of 3 storeys while he was working at a theatre in Victoria, Gozo.

Police said that the accident happened around 5.30pm, on Thursday afternoon in Republic Street,

The man, who is 48 years old and lives in Victoria, was taken to the Gozo General Hospital where he was certified to have suffered serious injuries.

Magistrate Brigitte Sultana was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.

Police investigations are ongoing.
