As part of the National Youth Policy, Agenzija Zghazagh launched the summer programmes for young people – Dive into Summer – with the aim of acquiring various skills that they will be able to use throughout their lives.
The programmes are open to young people between the ages of 12 and 16, and through their participation young people can gain new skills and learn about various subjects such as: ethics, technology and how to work in a team.
The National Youth Agency said that last year more than 550 young people attended the summer programmes. This year the agency will deliver 18 varied programmes in four places: Santa Venera, Msida, Birgu and Ghajnsielem in Gozo.
These programmes cover a wide range of subjects, from personal development to communication, as well as creative and critical thinking.
Each programme is designed to provide young people with opportunities to discover and improve their abilities and skills through various mediums such as drama, podcasting and social media.
