A tree has been vandalised in the vicinity of the Santa Marija site in Comino. Ambjent Malta said that the bark of the tree had been scratched off.

It warned that “such acts cause extensive damage to the tree and can even cause the death of the same tree.”

Ambjent Malta stated that “it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to respect our surroundings by not damaging trees, reporting any vandalism and protecting our environment so that it is enjoyed by everyone.”
