Gozo features on SEPAC 2024 – Main Tourist Attractions stamps

Each year, a joint stamp issue bearing a common theme is launched by all Small European Postal Administrations Cooperation (SEPAC) 13 member countries.

MaltaPost said that the theme chosen for 2024 is “Main Tourist Attractions.: In this regard, MaltaPost is launching a set of four stamps depicting popular tourist attractions in Gozo and Malta. All photography is by Daniel Cilia, one of Malta’s foremost photographers.

The €0.45 stamp portrays an aerial view of Mgarr Harbour. The Mosta Dome, one of Malta’s largest and most famous churches, is featured on the €0.65 stamp. The €1.91 stamp shows a panoramic view captured from inside Mixta Cave in Nadur, Gozo. The inside of the Blue Grotto sea caverns feature on the €3.85 stamp.

This set will be issued in a sheet of 10 stamps, with each stamp measuring 44mm x 31mm, with a comb perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark.

The sheets measure 185mm x 118mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 300,000 of the €0.38 stamp, 50,000 of the €0.65 stamp, 60,000 of the €1.91 stamp and 50,000 of the €3.85 stamp.

The stamps will be available from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo from Monday 16 September 2024.
