Ambjent Malta, is advising the public that when visiting sites of natural importance across Malta and Gozo, “it’s essential to keep your dog on a leash to protect our precious flora and fauna.”

“By ensuring your pet stays close, you help safeguard vulnerable habitats and species that make Malta’s natural heritage so unique,” it said. “Let’s work together to preserve these areas for future generations.”

Ambjent Malta said it is the Government entity “responsible for the preservation and enhancement of Malta’s natural capital and biodiversity in rural, urban, coastal and marine landscapes.”
