An international celebration for Christmas is being held at St Joseph Parish Church, Qala on Sunday, the 13th of December.
This ecumenical, socio-cultural event is entitled “Gozo International Celebration – Christmas Edition,” marking the theme “God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen.”
The celebration will be between 6.30 and 8.00pm, and is a welcoming occasion for all foreign nationals residing in or visiting Gozo and all are warmly invited to attend.
Gozitan artist Dennis Mompalao will participate through the evening. Performances will take place by The University of Malta Junior College Orchestra, The Chorus Urbanus, Gozo Handbell Ringers, The Magnificent Choir and Soprano Ruth Portelli.
The Horace Mercieca Award will be bestowed for the second time during the evening.
The evening will conclude with a reception at the Bishop Mons F. Buttigieg Hall, 28 April 1688 Street in Qala.
