Last week, President Myriam Spiteri Debono was in London on her first visit to the UK since becoming President, where she met with Maltese patients who are receiving medical treatment, and their relatives.

The President visited the High Commission of Malta and also met with representatives of the Puttinu Cares Foundation.

During here visit to London President Myriam Spiteri Debono met with the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus. Sisters forming part of this Congregation, first set up in Gozo, who are of great help and assistance to the Maltese who are going through a difficult period while receiving treatment in London.

During the visit, the President also met with the Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary, who also serve this mission in London.
