Due to a system upgrade, HSBC Malta said that its online, phone and mobile banking services (including mobile top-up), will be out of service from midnight to 3:30am, Monday, the 9th of December. Online 3D secure payments and SMS alerts will also be unavailable.

The Bank’s ATMs will also be out of service, and no withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs or purchases from outlets (including online stores) will be possible via both HSBC debit and credit cards.

HSBC Malta said that “this is required maintenance to make sure we provide you with the best possible service. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
