During an interview on NET TV on Sunday morning, Nationalist Party Leader, Bernard Grech said that Prime minister Robert Abela “acts tough with teachers but seems unable to confront Minister Clint Camilleri.” He also questioned “what the Gozo Minister might know about the Prime Minister.”

Grech referred to the latest report in the PN’s Sunday newspaper Il-Mument, which alleges that “Clint Camilleri is implicated in corrupt practices related to mooring facilities meant for Gozitan fishermen in Mgarr Harbour, which falls under the responsibility of Transport Malta – managed in Gozo by Camilleri’s wife.”

Bernard Grech stated that “Robert Abela is weak with those around him but acts tough on workers. He added that the Labour Party’s strategy remains unchanged: shuffle roles around but always aim to abuse public funds.”

He said this is why people filled the square in front of Parliament on Monday – “because they know Robert Abela has lost direction, lost control of the government, has no vision, and is more focused on covering up corruption than on improving the lives of the Maltese and Gozitans.”

“People see a government that has abandoned every sector: education, health, and infrastructure. The only thing it hasn’t abandoned is its friends’ pockets,” said Bernard Grech.
