Total cruise passengers calling at Gozo during 2024 stood at 15,068, this figure was up by 8,323 on the previous year, according to figures released from the National Statistics Office today.

2,762 passengers were onboard cruise liners anchored off Gozo during the fourth quarter of last year, This was 1,304 more than the same period in 2023.

On a national level, total cruise passenger traffic during the fourth quarter of 2024 amounted to 176,812, an increase of 4.6% over 2023.

The NSO noted that there were 92 cruise liner calls during the fourth quarter of 2024, an increase of 10 when compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The US, UK, and Italy were the top three markets for the fourth quarter of 2024.

Total cruise passenger traffic during 2024 amounted to 849,088, an increase of 4.2% over 2023.

There were 363 cruise liner calls during 2024, an increase of 54 when compared to the previous year.
