KM Malta Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct route connecting Malta (MLA) with Istanbul (IST), commencing on the 2nd of June.

The route will operate four times weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during summer as follows:

Monday/Tuesday KM784 MALTA 06:00hrs ISTANBUL 09:35hrs

Monday/Tuesday KM785 ISTANBUL 10:35hrs MALTA 12:15hrs

Wednesday/Thursday KM786 MALTA 16:25hrs ISTANBUL 20:00hrs

Wednesday/Thursday KM787 ISTANBUL 21:10hrs MALTA 22:50hrs

During winter, the route will operate three times weekly on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday:

Monday/Tuesday KM784 MALTA 06:00hrs ISTANBUL 10:35hrs

Monday/Tuesday KM785 ISTANBUL 11:35hrs MALTA 12:15hrs

Thursday KM786 MALTA 16:25hrs ISTANBUL 21:00hrs

Thursday KM787 ISTANBUL 22:10hrs MALTA 22:50hrs

The airline said that the route will be operated to iGA Istanbul Airport (IST) by KM Malta Airlines’ Airbus A320neo fleet, with both Business and Economy cabins and a capacity of up to 180 passengers, representing a weekly offer of up to 1,440 return seats. The route will be code-shared with Turkish Airlines.
