Strings Resound – is the title of an upcoming concert taking place in Ghajnsielem to mark Freedom Day.
The concert, under the musical direction of Pierre Louis Attard, presents an eclectic concert blending the elegiac tones of the Lenten period with more festive ones.
The programme also includes works by Maltese composers. Among others, Karl Jenkins’s Concerto Grosso ‘Palladio’ and Charles Camilleri’s suite ‘Village Music.’
The date to keep free for the concert is Monday, the 31st of March, at the Old Parish Church Ghajnsielem, starting at 7.45pm. Admission will be free of charge.
This event is supported by the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning and the Ghajnsielem Local Council.
