In collaboration with the Head of the Gozo College Agius De Soldanis Middle School, the Gozo Region has made a donation of an electric bike and two bike racks.
The bike racks have been installed at the school where they can be used by students and staff members.
The electric bike will be used on future mobility days as well as other activities. The two bike racks will help students and staff use alternative modes of transport.
Dr Samuel Azzopardi, Gozo Region President, presented the bike and stands to the School as part of Sustainable Mobility Day 2025.
The Gozo Region said that “this continues to push forward sustainable living and foster a culture that puts the environment first with active citizens.”
The Gozo Regional Council said that it is committed to creating a better environment for the future of our children and thanked the Head and Staff of the Agius De Soldanis Middle School for their cooperation.
