The Victoria Local Council have announced the first details of this year’s celebration for New Year’s Eve in the heart of the Victoria.
Artists taking part in the celebrations will include Airport Impressions, Carrie Haber, Melanie, Mistaken Identity, D.J. Jaycee, Francesa and Michaela and Junior Eurovision Song Participants.
The evening’s events will take place in Independence Square (It-Tokk) and St George’s Square. It is being presented by Sarah Camilleri (Dellijiet) and Neville Refalo (Amen).
Judging from the small tent that has been erected in Independence square, which merely covers 1/2 of the space available, it seems that the council itself is not expecting much audience for this activity….Not like last year where the tent covered the whole space and was packed. Maybe this is a measure to thwart more people towards the smaller St George’s Square?
