Malta Public Transport has advised that starting from this coming Sunday, the 1st of June, it has increased its frequency on some routes for its summer schedule in Gozo to meet the increased demand.
Route 322 between Mgarr and Marsalforn, will increase its frequency to every 45 minutes. Route 310 between Victoria and Marsalforn will operate every 30 minutes and route 302 will call at Ramla bay on all its trips.
From the 6th of July, route X1A between Cirkewwa and the University of Malta will be suspended for the summer months.
Malta Public Transport advised that all routes remain part of the free public transport scheme for those using a personalised Tallinja Card. For passengers paying on board, fares during the summer peak (starting the 14th of June) will be €2.50 when paying by cash or contactless.
It also advised passengers are to plan ahead as timetables will be updated to reflect these changes. Full schedules and route details are available at publictransport.com.mt and on the Tallinja App.

If extra buses are needed for tourists to Marsalforn, why is it not thought necessary to have extra buses to Victoria from Mgarr where all the tourists arrive in the first place! 301, 303 and 323 for a start.
Residents have a job to get on a bus through their villages on these overcrowded routes all year round as it is!
