Alternattiva Demokratika – The Green Party has expressed its best wishes for the New Year to all residents of Malta and Gozo.

AD Chairperson Michael Briguglio said: “In such times of joy let us all show our solidarity to the most underpriviledged persons in society, including those living in poverty, those who are socially excluded from civil or human rights, and those who face hardships such as physical and mental illness, loneliness and discrimination.”

“Solidarity should be universal towards all, irrespective of characteristics such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.”

AD also appealed for more awareness on the protection of animals.
