A 79-year old man from Victoria, died earlier this morning after being hit by a car when he was crossing the road.
The accident happened at approximately 6.40am in Pope John Paul II Street. The Toyota car involved in the incident was being driven by a 50-year old man also from Victoria.
An enquiry has been orderded by Magistrate Dr P Coppini.
