The Zebbug Local Council in Gozo said that over the past months it has carried out a public consultation regarding the proposed regeneration project for Pjazza l-Assunta.

The Council has now shared the artist impression images illustrating the vision for the project. It said that, “these visuals reflect the Council’s commitment to preserving the village’s cultural identity while creating a more accessible and welcoming public space.”

Following the consultation process and the feedback received from residents and stakeholders, the official plans will now be submitted for the necessary permits, the Council said.

Furthermore, the Council advised that it has also applied for funding under the Development Planning Funds of the Planning Authority, to help make this project a reality in the near future.

The Zebbug Local Council expressed its thanks all those who participated in this process “for their input and support as we continue working to enhance our village core.”
