On Monday, Leader of the Nationalist Party Alex Borg, accompanied by Shadow Minister for Gozo Chris Said and Gozitan PN candidates Beppe Galea and Norma Camilleri, visited Abraham’s Supplies in Xewkija, Gozo.
It was explained that “Abraham Said’s great love for food and wines led to the establishment of the company which today delivers food products and wines to consumers that are not only a pleasure for the palate but a complete experience for consumers who visit the establishment Vini e Capricci.”
Alex Borg was able to see how, through his innovation, Abraham Said managed to create a “state-of-the-art wine cellar, a modern kitchen and even a vinotheque.”
The PN Leader also listened to those that are the opportunities and the difficulties faced by local entrepreneurs such as Abraham Said.
Alex Borg said that it is a great satisfaction to see Maltese and Gozitan entrepreneurs turn their dreams into successful businesses such as the one created by Abraham.
He pledged that both from the opposition benches and, even more so, from government, the Nationalist Party will ensure that all those who wish to grow their business are given all the necessary tools to do so.
Borg stressed that the PN wants to invest in young people who wish to become entrepreneurs.
The Opposition Leader explained that in recent months the PN has presented a number of proposals aimed at turning dreams such as Abraham’s into reality, among them the Child Trust Fund which would place thousands of euro in the pockets of children when they reach the age of 20, enabling them to begin turning their dreams into reality.
He went on to say the Nationalist Party “believes in Maltese and Gozitan entrepreneurs and wants to see the local industry continue to be strengthened through various initiatives and direct incentives, while investment is made to strengthen the country’s infrastructure.”
Borg stressed that “above all, a new Nationalist Government will seriously strengthen connectivity between the two islands – something which will certainly continue to help Gozitan entrepreneurs deliver their products to Malta.”
