GO Malta has announced that they have just launched a not-to-be-missed offer on mobile and all those opting to join the GO family now will be rewarded with free talk-time every month. Under the offer, new Pay As You GO customers connecting to GO during the month of March and April 2010 will have their mobile usage monitored monthly and if the customer spends between €10 and €19.99 in mobile usage till the 31 March 2010 or the 30 April 2010 respectively she/he will be entitled to €10 worth of free talk-time to be consumed during the following month. Customers spending €20 or more in mobile usage over the same time spans will be eligible to €20 worth of free talk-time to be enjoyed during the following month. Customers will also have their mobile usage monitored during the following months, until May 2010, with last batches of free talk-time being awarded in June 2010.

Free talk-time awarded under the offer applies to all GO mobile and GO fixed numbers and can be availed of during off-peak hours i.e. between Monday and Friday from 20:01 to 07:59 hours, Saturdays and Sundays and Public Holidays all day. Free minutes are valid for 30 days and will be assigned during the first week of the following month and customers will be notified via SMS when the offer is activated. Once the free talk-time is assigned, eligible customers may check their remaining free talk-time balance by sending a blank SMS to 50700249 at a charge of €0.05 while customers can check their mobile usage for any particular month, free of charge, at any point during the offer period by sending blank SMS to 50700246.

And there’s even more to this exceptional offer – customers switching to GO from other local mobile operators can, in addition to the offer above, also look forward to enjoying thousands of additional free minutes and SMS. Customers opting to switch their mobile service provider to join the GO family and whose first top-up is of €20 or more will get – as a one-time reward – 3,000 free voice minutes to all GO mobile and GO fixed numbers plus 1,000 free SMS to all GO mobile numbers. New, porting-in customers to GO who make a first top-up of €10 will be given 1,000 free SMS to all GO mobile numbers.

Free SMS can be used exclusively towards GO mobile subscribers and the free minutes can be used towards any GO mobile and fixed numbers and are applicable during off-peak hours as specified above. Free minutes and/or SMS are valid for 30 days. After the expiry of the 30-day period, any unutilised free minutes and SMS will be lost. Customers can send a blank SMS to 50705077 to check their remaining balance of the 1,000 free SMS, and send a blank SMS to 50700248 to check their remaining balance of the 3000 free minutes. Both these SMS query numbers are chargeable at €0.05 per query made.
