The Left think-tank organisation Zminijietna appealed to the Planning Authority ”to reject the sanctioning of the illegally developed swimming pools in Sannat.”

Zminijietna insisted that ”the Authority should abide by the decision of Malta’s highest court, which annulled the permits related to these illegal developments taken by local NGOs.”

Zminijietna concluded by saying that “the Planning Authority has a duty to respect and implement the court’s ruling in order to remain fully compliant with the law and to safeguard the integrity of Malta’s planning system and public trust in its institutions.”
