The Servizz.gov Agency has opened a new regional office in Gozo, bringing its total number of centres across the Maltese islands to 27.

The new regional office was inaugurated by Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri, and the Head of the Public Service, Tony Sultana, during a visit to the centre located at St Francis Square, Victoria. They were accompanied by the Agency’s Chief Executive Officer, Massimo Vella.

The Servizz.gov centre in Victoria, Gozo, will offer residents the opportunity to access hundreds of government services under one roof. This includes assistance and applications for various services such as social benefits, educational services, tax forms, identity card collection, business support schemes, and other services.

The Gozo Minister stated that “this is a concrete example of a Government that places the citizen at the heart of its work and continues to invest in making services more accessible, efficient, and closer to the people.”

Head of the Public Service, Tony Sultana, noted that Servizz.gov centres now effectively reach every corner of the Maltese islands. He stated that “although only 14% of people prefer visiting these centres, it is our social duty to be present in towns and villages; therefore, we are continuing to expand our physical presence.”

CEO of Servizz.gov, Massimo Vella, said that the opening of this centre is part of the agency’s vision to bring public services ever closer to the public.

It was explained that in 2025, the Agency received 2.5 million requests for information or assistance. These consisted of 1.22 million calls to the Servizz.gov 153 freephone line, 350,000 visits to the centres, 80,000 cases handled via the chatbot, 131,000 emails, and 737,000 interactions via the Servizz.gov.mt website.
