The Gozo Regional Development Authority said that as it undergoes a period of leadership transition, it would like to express its sincere gratitude to its outgoing CEO, Mr. Ivan Falzon, for his ”exemplary leadership, commitment and dedicated service.”
The Authority said that during his tenure, Mr. Falzon played an important role in guiding the Authority and supporting its continued development and contribution to Gozo. ”We thank him for his valuable contribution, dedication and the work carried out during his time at the GRDA and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
The Authority also extended its deepest appreciation to its outgoing Chairperson, Mr. Michael Grech, for his ”leadership, guidance and commitment throughout his tenure.”
As Chairperson, Mr. Grech provided valuable direction to the Board and the Authority, contributing to the continued strengthening of the GRDA and its work in support of Gozo’s sustainable development, the GRDA said. ”His dedication, insight and contribution to the Authority are greatly appreciated, and we thank him for his service and the important role he has played in the GRDA’s continued progress. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
At the same time, the Authority said that it warmly welcomes Mr. Juergen Attard as its new CEO. Having been a valued member of the GRDA for a number of years, Mr. Attard brings with him extensive knowledge and experience of the Authority and its work.
We look forward to his leadership in this new role and are confident that, together with the GRDA team, he will continue to strengthen the Authority and further its positive contribution for the benefit of Gozo and its residents.
The Authority also warmly welcomes the new Chairperson, Ms. Abigail Camilleri, and the newly appointed Board members. ”We look forward to working together with the new leadership and Board as the GRDA continues to build on its work, fulfil its role as a key contributor to Gozo’s development, and support a sustainable and resilient future for the island and its communities.”
