Data from the National Statistics Office today has revealed that 356,101 tourists visited Gozo during August, including both same-day (299,345) and overnight (32,468) or 66.0% of total tourists for the Maltese Islands (457,636).

The figure was an increase of 9.2% on the same period in 2025, the NSO said.

The number of tourists visiting Gozo from January to August of 2026 including both same-day and overnight visitors totalled 1,794,381, same-day (1,645,031) and overnight (149,350) or 56.8% of total tourists. This was a 13.8% increase on the previous year, the National Statistics Office said.
