A 56-year old Xaghra man, Fortun Farrugia, was today charged with violently raping a 11-year-old boy. The alleged incident took place last Sunday in Gozo.
The man was also charged with the corruption of the child, as well as holding him against his will and threatening him. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and the magistrate remanded him in custody.
