The Xaghra Local Council has said that it welcomes with satisfaction the news that the Malta Environment and Planning Authority has issued the necessary permits for the rehabilitation of the Qortin dumping site situated in their locality.
The Council said it is sure that through this project, the Qortin dumping site will be given back to their residents and all Gozitans for use as an open space for our families’ recreation.
Moreover, the residents of Xaghra and Gozo will benefit from a better air quality which will result in a much healthier lifestyle.
Indeed I am very happy to hear about this Good News on Xaghra Qortin. I am sure it is going to look a lot better than it is now after its Finish.
I would like to Remind Xaghra Council to mention to the Planning Authority Board to have Few Binoculars installed, facing Sicily, so people can watch Etna in a clear Day…It will be the Perfect Place to have them installed …….It will be a Spectacular View to watch ……………….. I know , because I watched it, when I was younger.
